About the Business
Perry Backus opened this maze of a record store in 1982, and it’s since grown into a block-wide Missoula rite of passage. Beyond the massive vinyl and CD basement, it’s packed with local pottery, funny cards, and offbeat toys. It smells of patchouli, and every purchase still comes with a free piece of root beer candy from the barrel at the counter.
